This vessel is from the “Nagareru” series. Variation #1. Taken from the Japanese word for flowing, the piece is a balance between two forces. The piece is made to represent the movement of the world. Tectonic plates, river beds, and volcanoes. The piece is high fired with glazes manipulated to run and mix. Surfaces and textures bleed into each other. and have many variations. There are imperfections and many small moments of happenstance creating a balance within the piece. This vessel measures 14” x 6” X 6”
