(Portable On Demand Sculptures) A series of ceramic sculptures that were meant as a counter point to my salt chandelier series. The salt series dealt with lots of death and decomposition. Studies in the rebirth of a material and the subsequent emotions that deal with the losS of the host. The PODS on the other hand were a quick expression of creation. It gave me solace to start a series that was all about the material and learning about what it can do. I produced around 500 individual PODS that were meant to be spontaneous and fun. I tried to never repeat the process twice. Different glazes, surfaces, building methods, and firing types.
